So not much to report. This is a good thing. Anyway, we are waiting for a bed at Harborview. Currently there ICU has a 23 person waiting list, and there burn icu has a 17 person ICU. The intesivist today is trying to work a work around into there rehab center, and have access to everyone there we need to. In the meantime the goals are get her off the vent. At least two breathing trials daily. Minor debridements as needed. She is looking much better, and being very stable.

Just prayed for her to get in to Harborview right away. So here is hoping He heard my prayer!

I'm leaving soon with Makenna so I won't be bugging you for a few hours. :)

Hugs,
Marie

Hope a bed opens up quickly for Carol. The plan sounds great. We can't wait for the day that she is off the vent!

Thanks for the update, Scott.

Love,
Ally & Pete

I wish I still lived in the Tri cities so that I could come see Carol. I can't seem to get her out of mind and hope and pray that she gets better. I was thinking back when we use to hang out and can remember how hard headed she was. I see now that this is good, she needs to be very strong to get better for you and the girls. Carol has alot of support and prayers and for you well I have never met anyone like you that is so strong. She needs that. After I heard about Carol it made me think about my health, so I went and got a complete physical for me and my family. May the tansition to Harborview help her.

I saw Carol today and she looks like the same amazing, strong person I knew in high school.

Hope to come up again with some of the girls from the Tri-Cities to visit when she's feeling better.

Hope she gets that bed soon at Harborview! :-)

My love and prayers always,
Candie (Russert) Lansing
