Well, Carol is doing ok. Sprits a little down the last couple days, but working through it. She has surgery tomorrow. She had a couple eye tests. Her optic nerves are turning from a normal pink color to a darkening yellow. Ominous signs of nerve death. So the short of it is that regaining any eyesight will probably not be happening.

Words cannot express how deeply saddened I am by this news. I, however, will not give up praying for a more positive outcome.

Is there anything we can do to help her emotionally? I know I keep on asking you...

Sending love and many, many well wishes.

I echo the sentiments of all of those who care for Carol.

Not the outcome anyone hoped for but I hold on to the joyful fact that Carol has made it through this. She is still fully capable of so much.

Your family is truly the strongest group of people I have encountered.

I am so saddened by this news, I am so sorry.

I can't remember where I heard it but it was just the other day...

"Science may be able to tell you what the medical realities are, but what science can't tell you is what the realities are that lie within the human spirit and the miracles it can make."

Carol is an amazing woman, and I believe that she has enough strength and posititve spirit in her to do and accomplish anything she wants to and she will. Stay strong.

Love and prayers,
Kari
