8/18/2008

Carol until yesterday has been asleep basically for almost all of last week. Suddenly yesterday she was and has been since very awake. Perhaps just fighting off a couple infections las week. No real changes. Arm's and leg's are getting better. No date on the next surgery, but my guess is that they will suprise me with it any day. Still no vision... She is getting more receptive to listening to books on cd and the like, and in general hearing what is going on with life outside the hospital.

Thanks for the update, Scott. Is she still on the vent?

Glad to hear that her arms and legs are healing, and that she's developing some interest in life outside the hospital.

Love,
Ally & Pete

As always, thank you for the update.

Glad to hear that she is healing and more receptive to "life outside the hospital". If there is anything we can do that may be helpful or anything that we are doing that may be counter-productive please let us know.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Carol and your family every day.

Love,
Stephanie, Arthur, Perry and Stella

Scott, Thank you for keeping the post going, that in itself can be very tedious but I appreciate knowing what is happening. Please tell Carol that I am thinking of her and her girls are beautiful.
