8 steps today!! Edit that now to 75 steps plus the 8...
She wasn't supposed to do this today. She was with her walker, and she decided she just wanted to check and see if she could balance by herself, so her PT let her:).

God is good...just a fellow sister encouraging you through your journey.

i orginally heard your story through my home church as we prayed for you during our service a few months ago. then another friend of mine directed your site through her blog. small world, but her, carol and myself all went to the same high school.

may God continue to give you strength in your perseverance.

Carol,,, I have often noticed all the firsts that we adults get to celebrate in for our children; first smile, first word and the ever mighty first step!! Many times I have thought how nice it would be to have people cheer that way for our accomplishments as adults, when we can truly appreciate and bask in the glory and encouragement of all the support. Hooray for you!!! What an accomplishment!

I love reading Scott's posts. Carol, you are still the fighter you always were, I am so glad you have that in you. I'm sorry I missed you when you were home last week. It was great spending a few hours with the girls and laughing about old times.

It prompted me to look through pictures from back then. I found one of you and I sailboarding at Charbonneau Park. Remember that day? I remember it well. My parents just bought the new boat and we were learning to water ski.

You got up first of course, and on your first try, but I still remember telling myself, ha, if Carol can do it I can do it too. Well, I did, but it took me two trys. Regardless, I wasn't about to go home that day without being able to ski too!

Thanks for being the inspiration you were back then and continue to be today.

Luvs, Kari
