Carol came home from the hospital yesterday in the evening. We are adjusting to what now feels like a definite "1 step back". We are doing pretty well, all in all. Carol thanks everyone for all the well wishes!!
So glad to read that Carol is back home with her family. It's always more comfortable to recuperate amongst your creature comforts and your loved ones. Prayers for a quick recuperation and for Carol to be back to where she was before the surgery sooner than expected. (She has defied expectations so far, hasn't she? She has a determined spirit!)
Scott & Carol - I'm constantly checking up on you despite not commenting. Wish you all well and so sorry that Carol had to go through another surgery - although it sounds like her long term pain may be better with the nerve shortened and not constantly pinched. Makes one wonder how "phantom" the phantom pain really is?? Maybe more based in true pathology than we know. Also - we will be in Seattle May 9-15 and Jane and I were hoping to drive down to see Carol one of those days. You don't need to let me know right now - I'll give you guys a call next month and see what works for you. Give my love to Carol and take care. You give us all hope! Love - Kathryn
Glad to hear all the progress, I am a friend of the Bailey's and periodically check in to see how well everyone is doing. Carol you are an inspiration!
