So here I am standing in the kitchen taking a painting break, and I hear Carol out in the living room, she has started the TV all by herself and is watching "Wedding Crashers" . You that may really know Carol, know this laugh she has when she thinks something is really funny. She was out giggling this laugh all by herself. I have a heard it a few times the last couples years, not many. This was definitely all be herself invoked, if you know what I mean. Had to post about it, it's the first time in awhile, I have seen her be alone, and just laughing to herself without any other personal interference.....in the nicest ways... it was great:))

That's wonderful : ) I can only imagine how good it makes you feel. What a long road your family has been on. You deserve to hear much more laughter.

Scott, you don't know me, but I know your Carol thru some Ricks College roomies of mine. I think of you guys often and pray for ya. Like Kim Hatch said, "here's to many more" of those laughs. Thanks for the update!

Please post again-you have no idea who I am, but I pray for and think about your family, and especially Carol, daily.

Fellow dentists from Pierce County Dental Society were asking me “How are the Deckers?” I thought I visit your blog and get an update. I was happy to report back to your peers that you and your family were doing well. Personally, I enjoyed this post and had to share it with my wife. We both were smiling as well.
